A Few Money Saving Tips
A Few Money Saving Tips – http://paleodietlifestyle.com/money-saving-tips/
There is the perception among many Paleo experimenters and even die-hard dieters that Paleo is a very expensive diet. This is the opposite of the truth. While you can go all out and purchase extravagant and extensive meals, it’s very easy and accessible to do Paleo on a budget. Here are a few tips for those looking to try Paleo on the cheap:
- Purchase in bulk – Sams Club and Costco can be excellent resources for Paleo as they offer significant discounts for purchasing in bulk.
- Grow (and gather) your own food – This one seems pretty self-explanatory; grow it, gather it, eat it at a portion of what you would have spent in the grocery store. You’re also doing Mother Nature a favor since there’s no transportation involved.
- Hunt your own food – Again, this one is pretty basic. If you’re any good at hunting or fishing you’ll be able to get a significant amount of food for the cost of a fishing or hunting permit and some basic supplies (which most people already own).
- Preserve and freeze your food – Frozen food and meat might not be quite as good as fresh, but they still fill you up and give you the nutrients you need. It also enables you to buy in bulk without your food spoiling.
