Why sugar is so bad for you
Everyone talks about why sugar is so bad for you, but what exactly makes it so bad? To understand why sugar is so bad, first you have to understand that fructose (generally called “bad sugar”) is treated as a toxin in the body. Now, since it is considered a toxin, the liver will convert excess amounts of it into fat cells and send those out into the body. In addition, it has the same basic effects as alcohol in damaging the liver. On top of that, it increases leptin resistance, which throws your appetite and metabolism and plays a part in causing many of the same problems as metabolic syndromes.
