Planning School Lunches for Your Children

school-cafeteriaChoosing 5 lunches a week for your child to take to school can be a little overwhelming at first.  One common trick is to minimize the difference between your child’s food and the rest of their classmates.  A simple way to do this is to paleo-ify the weekly school lunch schedule.  Most schools publish this well in advance (atleast 1 month) which will give you time to lightly plan some simple alterations for your child to allow him to participate with his/her friends at lunchtime.  As your child becomes more accustomed to a paleo diet and the effects of eating poorly, your child will naturally start to make better decisions on their own.
