Athletic background? Played basketball, lifted weights and ran hurdles in high school, went on to run hurdles in college for a year; have played softball and golf occasionally

In one sentence, how has CF changed your life? CrossFit has been a confidence builder for me, but mostly it has given me an outlet.

What motivates/inspires you? From day one, it has been the other women at CrossFit Frontier. They are fun to workout with and they all have their own unique story.

Name one goal CF will help you attain? At first all I was hoping for was a little muscle definition, but now it’s so much more. Overall fitness and flexibility, being able to keep up with my active family.

Hobbies outside of the box? Reading and cooking
Favorite healthy food? Almond butter with apples
Favorite treat food? My latest is Krazy Kookie Dough ice cream, but mostly it’s Sweet Cream creamer.
Name something about you that would surprise us? I dread running, but it’s good for me. No, I think most people know that about it. Well, I also dread downtime. I actually plan my downtime, so I have something to do.

Advice to newbies? Keep with it, no matter how sore you get, it does get better, lean on the CrossFit community to get through it because the fitness results are well worth it.

Favorite WOD song? I mostly tune all noise out, but I like the Radioactive song by Imagine Dragons.

Most memorable moment at the box? The first time my son, Jaden, lapped me in a WOD. I had to buy him a comic book.
