Strength
Back Squat
7 sets of 5 reps @ 75%

This is day 2 of our 3 week squat cycle and this first week will definitely be the toughest. How’s everyone feeling so far? Anyone have any good mobility that’s really helped them out?

Continue in this pattern adding 3 reps each round until time runs out.

Basics
7 Minute AMRAP of:
3 Kettlebell Swings
3 Knees-2-Elbiw
6 Kettlebell Swings
6 Knees-2-Elbows
9 Kettlebell Swings
9 Knees-2-Elbows…

Paleo Brownies

Ingredients:

1 cup pure maple syrup

3/4 cup natural cocoa powder

1 cup almond butter

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1 egg

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Heat syrup on low heat on the stove.  Stir in cocoa powder on low heat.  Cocoa powder will burn so keep an eye on it.

2. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients until mixed.

3. Pour into 8×8″ baking pan greased with coconut oil.

4. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-50 min.

Tasty Rating: 10

I feel bad rating other foods a 10 with this one.  This is by far the best Paleo anything I’ve put in my mouth.  I’d give it an 11 if I could.  A pricy recipe with all the almond butter and maple syrup, however the taste is worth it.  Control yourself (the price kind of makes you) and you’ll look forward to this treat all day!!!  I would recommend topping each bite with a small pinch of salt, it accentuates the flavor!  Your welcome.  I actually think these puppies are way better than regular brownies…well…maybe not but they are AMAZING!
