Back Squat
7 sets of 5 reps @ 5-20# more than last week
Add weight depending on how you feel after Monday and how you felt with last weeks weight. A general rule of thumb is the heavier your 1 rep Max the more you will typically add. For example: a female who’s 1RM is 120 will add significantly less than a male who’s 1RM is 300.

Balsamic Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
Ingredients:
1 lb. of asparagus, ends trimmed off
10 pieces of nitrate-free bacon, cut in half
1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
Ground black pepper
1 lemon, quartered (for serving, I didn’t do)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F. Wrap one half-slice of bacon tightly around each piece of asparagus and place on a baking sheet covered in aluminum foil.
2. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar and olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle with a few dashes of ground black pepper.
3. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip each asparagus over and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
4. Serve right away with lemon wedges on the side.
Tasty Rating: 10
Anything is good wrapped in bacon. That’s a very popular and wise saying. I couldn’t agree more. I’ve had bacon wrapped asparagus before but this balsamic twist is delish! I love the smell of balsamic vinegar.
